Are you wondering what it’s like to participate in a clinical trial? Do you feel like you could be eligible for a certain clinical study and want to get involved? Joining a clinical trial is an important and personal decision. If you’re curious what it’s like to be part of our paid medical studies, here’s a step-by-step process of what you can expect and how to get started.
BROWSE & FIND A STUDY
Start by browsing the clinical studies that are available on our website and see which ones you are interested in. Click here to find a study.
SIGN UP & CALL US
Complete the registration form and call us at 844-246-8459. A recruiter will finalize your profile and discuss the details of the studies that match your profile.
SCHEDULE A SCREENING VISIT
You will schedule a screening appointment. Make sure you have your a valid State ID and the original of your social security card, because you will have to bring these documents for the screening visit.
THINK ABOUT IT!
Don’t schedule a screening visit if you smoked or ate products containing THC within 30 days before the appointment. If you don’t wait for 30 days to get the drug out of your system, you will fail the screening test and not get compensated for your time and travel.
GET A HEALTH CHECK UP
Our recruitment and medical teams will explain everything you need to know about the study. Make sure you are fasted for 8 hours when you arrive for your screening visit. You will need to sign an Informed Consent Form, pass a drug test, and complete a health check up.
WILL YOU BE ELIGIBLE?
Our medical team will review your blood work and decide if you are eligible. They might also ask you to come back for a repeat blood work. Once the medical team gives the green light, you will get a call to confirm that you are eligible and can officially enroll in our clinical study.
REFER A FRIEND AND GET A BONUS
Biotrial will send you updates on any future clinical studies where you can participate. Do you know someone who is interested in a paid medical study? Feel free to refer a friend or a family member and get a referral bonus of up to $500 when they participate in a study!
RECEIVE YOUR PAYMENTS
You will receive your first payment the day you are released from the in-house stay. Then you should thoroughly attend all required visits. You will receive a payment at each ambulatory visit. Once the study is done and you have not missed any visits, you will receive your final compensation.
